I love this style for its simplicity and minimalism. It's incredible how much we can say with only a straight line. It is something that your eyes want to follow.
The line is exceptionally well combined with color spots and textures; they give the depth to a plot. I often use this principle in my artwork.
We could use images within such an art style on textiles, posters and book illustrations.
